The new construction extend six feet into the rear setback. With the abutters’ consent on the variance, Off-The-Grid was able to design a two-and-one-half-story addition that features a modern kitchen and breakfast nook, family room, half bath and side porch on the first floor. The second floor now provides a true master suite and additional bath, while the space above the addition on the third level became a new bedroom and bath. The project also insulated and finished the rest of the attic as a bedroom and sitting room. This new addition made the house more valuable and beautifully functional for the family.
