The approach to the new three-family residence proposed by Off-The-Grid was in response to the client's need to replace the existing 3,700-square-foot multi-story residence with three 1,700-square-foot townhouse-style units. OTG leaned toward a classic gable roof style to align the shape of the new building with the rest of the residences in the neighborhood. However, given that OTG’s intent to deliver a unique design is always present, we incorporated some contemporary elements, thus achieving a simple and modern design that stands out while echoing the modern improvements the city of Quincy is developing
